James Peter DiGuiseppe, age 55, of Wilmington, DE, died January 12, 2006 in the Institute of Diagnostic Treatment in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was the loving partner of Gordon E. Gates, Jr., of Wilmington, DE.
Born in West Chester, PA, Jimmy was the son of Anna Joan Massucci and Hugo Immediato of Hockessin, DE. Jimmy D. was a "family social director", who was always there to lend a hand with a project. He had a particular flare for flower arranging and was the planner of several weddings and other events.
Jimmy is also survived by brothers, Gerald L. DiGuiseppe, and his wife, Laura, of Wilmington, DE, and Lawrence J. DiGuiseppe, Jr., and his wife, Jennifer, of Wilmington, DE; sister, Judith A. DiGuiseppe, and her husband, Sanford Shkolnik, of Chicago, IL; stepbrothers, Ross A. Immediato, and his wife, Cookie, of Bear, DE, Hugo A. Immediato, Jr., of Wilmington, DE, and Carl J. Immediato, and his wife, Laura, of Wilmington, DE; and stepsisters, Devorah A. Levey, and her husband, Israel, of San Francisco, CA, Lisa J. Immediato, and her husband, Bill Deputy, of Wilmington, DE, Victoria L. Winton, and her husband, Robert, of Wilmington, DE, and Deidra Fredrick, and her husband, Lyle, of Unionville, PA.He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 am on Monday, January 23, 2006, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 901 N. DuPont St., Wilmington, DE. Family and friends may call from 6-9 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2006, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA 19348, and from 9-10 am on Monday morning, prior to the service, at the church.
